Saturation and Delays in Mexico City's Metro

Today, Saturday, March 8, 2025, problems have arisen in the progress of some units of the Collective Transportation System (STC) Metro of Mexico City (CDMX), leading to passenger congestion.

On Line 3, a train was removed, causing smoke at Hidalgo station and other stops, resulting in significant delays. On the other hand, on Line 12, there has been maximum passenger congestion due to issues in train progress from the bases.

Regarding the current status of the different lines of the Metro in CDMX:

- Line 6: Service remains stable, although there is high user demand. - Line 7: Despite the high influx of citizens, trains are moving adequately; caution is advised. - Line 8: Slow train progress is reported, causing passenger congestion at stations; alternatives should be considered. - Line 9: Service is good, with trains moving normally, despite the maximum influx from Pantitlán. - Line 2: Despite the high demand, good progress of units is observed. The Zócalo/Tenochtitlan station remains temporarily closed.

Additionally, there are alternatives for reaching the city center using other stations. The problems persist on Line 3 with a slow departure of units at Indios Verdes and maximum passenger demand.

On other lines like 4 and A, the service remains stable with low demand, while Line 5 has high demand at various stations. On Line B, slow unit progress is reported, but without breakdowns, with a waiting time of six minutes. In Line A, there are slight delays of up to seven minutes, without incidents.

Users are advised to take precautions and consider alternatives given the current situation on some lines of the Metro in CDMX.
